Level 5 builds upon the knowledge gained in Level 4 and incorporates a bespoke module feature. Aiding learners in extending their knowledge for tattoo removal, advanced vascular, or pigmented lesions.

The Level 5 laser and light qualifications are open to:

• beauty therapists (Level 3/4 qualified),
• nurses
• healthcare professionals*
• pathways exist for applicants that can demonstrate industry skills and knowledge for learning at Level 4 and higher or have pre-existing study displaying an aptitude for learning.

Theory and practical course structure including clinical hours*

In level 5 emphasis is placed not only on practical learning but the structure of information behind the treatment. Consent forms, photo imagery, consultation skills, and guidelines for treatment.

Occupational health and safety including hazard prevention and identification, creating safe workplaces, machine maintenance & documentation, and workspace ergonomics,

Consultation skills, communication, electronic record keeping, workflow systems in the clinic environment.
