Azzalure/Dysport and the second most popular toxins.

Elective - Azzalure®

Azzalure and Dysport are identical toxins both produced by Galderma. They represent the second most popular toxin brands with many practitioners and clients preferring the aesthetic outcome.

Azzalure/Dysport can be preferred for indications such as underarm sweating due to the increased spread of the toxin and many prefer the forehead result.

In the stage 3 elective module you learn on label usage of the Azzalure toxin plus a revision of all modules. The increased knowledge and experience will set you up for a more confident practitioner.

Who is able to attend this course?

The course is open to degree holding Level 6 doctors and dentists. Nurses are also able to take this course but please be aware you are still unable to administer anti-wrinkle injections in the Republic of Ireland.

Is there a practical component to this course?

Yes, the course is structured with the delivery of theory of approximately 190 hours through our virtual learning environment. In addition, the practical day sees you observing injectable treatment plus hands-on administering of dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections. All our courses have a strong focus on practical skills.

I am a beauty therapist can I attend this course?

No, due to the unregulated nature of beauty therapists and insurance protocols plus the legislation around prescription medicine beauty therapists are unable to study this course. Can I just enrol in the theory aspect of the course then? Sorry, no that is also not possible. We see that as encouraging rogue practices in the industry.

Do I need to provide my own model for the course?

No, we provide all models for the practical component of the course. If you do wish to bring along a model, please let us know at the time of enrolment.

Do I need my own insurance?

No, our insurance covers you on the practical treatment days. Once you have qualified you will, of course, need to organise your insurance to practice.

So much more than one-day training

Up to 30 patients treated in our Stage 1 foundation botulinum toxin training – no sharing a single patient or five between a group in a rushed atmosphere where you come away wholly ill-equipped to start practising. Allergan Aesthetics and Galderma support A.T.A.I. – we have achieved this accolade through the quality of our training and following strictly on-label training at our foundation level. Considering our training of up to 30 patients at the foundation level in a 1:1 or 1:2 training environment, you cannot compare it to most courses. Our second largest cohort of delegates is doctors who have completed a one-day course.

Our college is conveniently located in Swords, Co Dublin with many parking options No need to battle city traffic with no possibility of parking. Only 15 minutes from Dublin air port.
