Jawline shaping and contouring, including the chin, has become a popular aesthetic procedure. Learn how to shape and accentuate the lower face creating a stronger masculine contour for males or a sharper definition for the female patient. Cannula and needle techniques plus our in-depth theory. Juvederm Volux & Teoxane dermal fillers are covered.

Presented by Dr Michelle Westcott, our head of training with over 16 years of experience and a leader in the aesthetics field. In an in-depth masterclass, you treat three patients and observe six in a 1:3 training environment. We also off a 1:1 training option where you administer to six patients; please let us know after enrolment if you would like to upgrade to the 1:1 training. We supply all models, but you are encouraged to bring one model that is treated for free; please also let us know if you would like to get a model.

  • Product knowledge—includes Juvéderm Volux, Teosyal Ultra Deep, RHA 3, 4, UTH
  • Safe Injection techniques and correct skin depths using needle and cannula.
  • Practical injection techniques for contouring the cheek, jaw and chin include:
    • • Techniques for correct augmentation and definition of the profile of the jaw.
      • Techniques to improve the size and shape of the chin (project, length and symmetry).
      • Techniques to define the jawline and tightening of the jowls.
      • Techniques for contouring the jaw and chin.
  • Step-by-step treatment protocols.
  • Managing client expectations.
  • How to address possible side effects, complications and concerns.
  • How to limit complications with safe angles, depths of injections and techniques that substantially reduce risk.
  • After-care advice and maintenance.

Course content is delivered through a flipped classroom—online learning before attending the masterclass and then revision with Dr Michelle Westcott on the training day.
