Once compleated you are ready to practice with sought-after Level 4 qualifications including Chemical Skin Peels, Micro-Needling, IPL for Skin Rejuvenation, Laser for hair removal, a solid understanding of topical skin therapy including advanced facials. Dermal science is central to this qualification instilling an advanced understanding of skin conditions, physiology of ageing, structure and function of skin and hair.
Our access aesthetics courses are all designed for people without existing experience, as such core skills of client care, professionalism, ethics, psychology for aesthetic practice and clinical governance are all covered. You will gain the needed skills to holistically treat the bodies largest organ while understanding how diet and environmental factors influence skin health.
We move far beyond brand training to equip you with the understanding of the science behind cosmeceutical products and the knowledge of evidence-based practice to make informed decisions for complex treatment protocols.
80% of your class time is spent on practical training. Delivering theory through eLearning allows a core focus in producing an outstanding hands-on practical educational experience. Acquire skills to provide a thorough consultation to establish client suitability for treatment and also the knowledge on how to formulate a specific treatment plan tailored to suit individual client’s needs. Learners will also be able to provide the client with relevant post-care to maximise treatment results and look after their skin post-treatment. Understand the systems of the body, how nutrition affects skin health while also gaining a full understanding of the physiology of ageing. Learn about evidence-based practice, professionalism, law and ethics. Learn about at-risk groups and body dysmorphia through psychology for aesthetics practice.
During the course, you will undertake clinical training in a variety of settings. You will learn to identify, evaluate and manage the physical, psychological and social needs of clients undergoing dermal assessment and treatment for conditions such as:

- uneven skin tone and pigmentation

9 Months part-time 3 days per week. Plus at home learning through our online learning platform specifically designed for healthcare courses.
