We welcome international students; if you are a registered doctor, surgeon, dentist or nurse, we have an internationally recognised course for growing your career. Aesthetic Training Academy (A.T.A.I.) is Ireland’s most prominent and longest-established medical aesthetic training centre.
We have been in the industry for 20 years, with a good part of that in Australia. We identified a lack of robust training in the sector that is predominantly driven by ineffective one and two-day courses. When we returned to Ireland, this lack of robust training spurred us to start A.T.A.I. We began in laser & IPL training, and from there, we have expanded into aesthetic medicine and general aesthetic therapies.
Theory delivered through online learning
A strength of training with A.T.A.I. for the international student is our theory is delivered through online learning. This flexibility means you can study in your home country; once you complete the online theory, you can arrange for the practical component of the course in Ireland.
Video training and webinar
Our online learning is not only in-depth, but we are working towards becoming a worldwide virtual destination for aesthetic education. Coming in 2022, Webinar training, log into our master classes to refresh your knowledge. Join a virtual induction day or increase your skills through our aesthetics training channel. We are working hard to make training more beneficial for international delegates back in their home country and before they leave to begin training.

Our Swords location is 15min from the international Dublin Airport; we have hotels around the airport, also on the same street as our training centre. Being so close to the international airport is just another way training with A.T.A.I, is a streamlined, professional affair.

Our aesthetic medicine programme
Courses in aesthetic medicine are only available to medically qualified Doctors, Surgeons, Dentists and Nurses with current registration with their governing body.
Cosmetic beauty
We also provide training in the beauty aesthetic sector; modalities include; laser hair removal, tattoo removal, very superficial chemical peels, and radiofrequency, amongst others. We also offer the only level 4 entry programme for school leavers wanting to enter the cosmetic beauty sector. Please note: We do not provide aesthetic medicine training to non-medical delegates.
